Every engineer has a starting point. Mine began with Computer Science — learning how to break down problems, think logically, and turn ideas into something that could actually work.

Technology keeps changing. So does the toolbox I bring to a problem.
My core strength is not knowing every tool. It's knowing how to choose and combine the right ones to solve the problem in front of me.
Over more than a decade, the role changed — but the direction stayed consistent: understand the problem, build the solution, and make it better.
My first professional step into software development. I worked with application testing and product teams while learning how software is built and improved in a real delivery environment.
Started turning designs and wireframes into working application components while building foundations in SQL, C#, .NET and ASP.NET.
Expanded across web and mobile development, Angular, Vue.js, APIs, automated testing, reusable UI components and AWS technologies. I also began taking on more responsibility across development, production support and technical collaboration.
Moved further into development strategy, architecture thinking, code reviews, code quality and technical leadership — including training as a technology architect associate.
Today I work across the full stack while taking on problems involving architecture, cloud systems, reusable design, automation, performance and technical problem-solving.
A few examples of how I approach engineering problems — starting with the need, then choosing the architecture and technology that makes the solution reusable, maintainable and useful.
I established a React-based Micro Frontend architecture, introducing a reusable development approach that was adopted across multiple subsequent initiatives.
I designed and pioneered an AWS event-driven architecture using Lambda, S3, EventBridge and Step Functions. The resulting cloud pattern became a reusable foundation that enabled and accelerated subsequent development.
I automated business workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, turning a repetitive manual process into an automated workflow and dramatically reducing execution time.
I led code optimization and refactoring initiatives focused on improving execution efficiency rather than simply replacing existing systems.
I developed a StencilJS-based Micro Frontend component library so multiple subscribing applications could leverage shared, consistent components.
Numbers don't tell the whole story. But they make the outcome a little easier to see.
Software is a team sport. The code matters — but so does how you communicate, collaborate, solve problems and show up for the people building alongside you.
She is one of the key developers and reason that the team is able to deliver successful multiple releases with less defects.Nica is responsible and reliable on performing her task - User Story development, knowledge transition to OPS and newteammates, branch instance/management, and lower environment code deployment, has initiatives and able to suggestionsimprovement on our application. Successful during Spint review that she received a positive feedback from businessowner/client. She was able to step out on her comfort zone. She does not limit herself by taking training to a new technology(AWS). Keep it up Nica!
Nica has been very helpful as the POC during the production deployments. Nica is very knowledgeable on all enhancements that has been delivered by the team enabling her to be very effective during the validations. She is very much approachable and immediately acts on the issues raised by OPS team to her. She is also the POC of the team in completing the UT/CT code coverage as part of the production acceptance items.
Nica as a developer is doing great for our project. She handles rebrands, improvements, vulnerabilities, bug fixes and etcefficiently. As a leader, she's very approachable and provides technical suggestions, approaches or information on some userstories if our team need some insights. Nica and I work remotely and don't really get to meet in person, but she's honestly one of the teammates I know I can rely on. Communication with you has always been easy, and I never have to worry about whether something will get done. I trust Nica with any project.
Thank you for being such a great teammate and for always stepping up when needed. You started out as the only frontend developer on the team, but you didn't stop there. You took the initiative to learn backend development and eventually became a full-stack developer.
I also really appreciate you taking ownership of the cloud development pattern that we now use across many of our new projects. It's become a key pattern for newer projects and you've played a big part in making that happen.
You're also someone we can always count on. You're happy to lend a hand, especially when there are issues/bugs--even when they're outside your usual scope or technical stack. You don't just say, 'That's not my area'. You make an effort to help, and that makes a huge difference to the team.
I've spent the last 10+ years learning how to build better software, solve harder problems, and help turn ideas into working solutions. I'm always interested in opportunities where I can bring that experience to a team building something meaningful.
